Legal & Disclaimer

Independent. Private. Not a government agency.

Safety People LLC is a private EHS consulting firm. This page clarifies our independence, the scope of the services we provide, and how to interpret the regulatory information on this site.

Independence from government agencies

Safety People LLC is an independent consulting firm. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA), the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), CalEPA, local air quality management districts, fire marshals, or any other federal, state, county, or municipal government agency.

References on this website to Cal/OSHA, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, APCD/AQMD, or any other regulator, standard, or program are descriptive only. They identify the regulations our clients are subject to and the standards we help them comply with. They do not imply any partnership, certification by, or endorsement from those entities.

OSHA Outreach Training authorization

Members of our team are authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers (OSHA 10 / OSHA 30) through the OSHA Training Institute Education Center network. The Outreach Training Program is administered by OSHA; trainer authorization does not make Safety People LLC an OSHA office or representative. Outreach Training is voluntary and does not, on its own, fulfill the training requirements of any specific OSHA standard.

Not legal advice

Information on this site — including blog posts, regulatory updates, and service descriptions — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice, is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, and should not be relied upon for any specific compliance, citation response, or litigation matter. Regulations change frequently and application depends on facts specific to each workplace.

Consulting services & no guarantee of outcome

Our consulting, training, audit, and on-site support services are designed to help employers reduce risk and improve compliance posture. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including but not limited to passing an inspection, avoiding citations, reducing penalties, or preventing incidents. Final compliance responsibility always rests with the employer.
